Roy was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He attended Western Kentucky University and entered the family monument business at 21 years of age. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda, and has been married for 35 years. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Roy is involved with First Christian Church, serves on the board of both the Helping Hand and the Kentucky Baptist Children’s Home. In his free time, he loves to read and play golf.
